Umm... universal health care??? I'll pay half my income to taxes every month if it means I can rely on my family having health care for the rest of their lives. Sign me up!

before you sign up check out what Canada and England are doing. They have to go to other states to have MRI's or surgery as they have to wait. The Dr's only work 9-5 afte tyhat u just have to wait or go some where else. Just check it out.!!

I have friends from Canada, and they just returned to they could have their baby there, to get the health insurance. My friends from the UK are pretty thankful for their health care, as well as my French classmates. From the people that I have spoken with about it, it sounds like a much better way to go. Maybe I'll just have to travel somewhere foreign when I am a nurse, and decide for myself if its worth it or not :-) All I know is that starting this month, health insurance is going to empty my bank account each month, and it hardly covers anything! How am I supposed to go to school full time and work full time to pay my bills AND health insurance?!?
