Tonight I worked at Ale House. I trained Laura to waitress. Yay! It was pretty busy, for a Wednesday. YAY! I made good money. YAAAY!
We didn't get off work until 12am. I promised her I would proofread her essay tonight so she could turn it in tomorrow.
It is now 2:30am. Essay is done. My stuff is packed for tomorrow. I have to wake up at 6:15am for my first day of clinical. 3.75 hours of sleep. .... yay???

I'm goimg to let you in on a little secret...nursing care plans are the bane of nurses existence.I mean I guess they help figure out why you are doing something for a patient...but come on...if you don't know why we're doing it we're probably in trouble!You know how I always say "those that can't, teach"?I'm sure nursing care plans we're made up by some nurse that is one of those.A nurse stuck in the ivory educational tower that couldn't hack it in the real world of nursing.That being said,those stinking care plans will haunt you all thru nsg school!What's your address?I need it.There's a slim possibility I might be in Maui March 28 thru April 4...but I'm a little doubtful.I'd sure like to see you.Do you think you might make it out for KP's graduation?Life is good here.My new horse,Tate,is pretty damn cool.I'm excited about him.Jester is unsound (again)we're taking him to the vet tomorrow(Amy is taking Bebe for a check up,hopefully she can start cantering her).Work is really exciting.I'm getting back on my game.Taking care of really sick patients.I frequently have been getting the 1:1's (1 nurse to 1 pt).Pretty exciting especially if they get better!I had a guy a couple of weeks ago on 13 different vasoactive meds I was titrating.The next day I got him down to 5, the next day down to 2.Pretty cool!
