new car, a new me.

Its been almost a month since I informed you of my life. So much to say, never enough time. I hardly have time to use the bathroom anymore. Seriously, I use the school bathroom more than my own bathroom at home. So what has happened?

Well, over 4 weeks ago my car broke down. Did I ever tell you that? Yup, poor little Lucy Verde finally gave into the salty, windy air, and most likely too few oil changes. Her heater core busted and leaked coolant or water or whatever it is, she overheated but her temp gauge was broken so I never knew her headgasket was toast. She managed her last drive, all the way to the house about four weeks ago. That was the weekend before my first week of clinical. RIP Lucy. 

I guess I don't have many pictures of her... but here was one taken when I first was learning to windsurf maybe a year and a half ago?? or more??? She lasted me 2 years. I was happy then, taking her to the beach, up Haleakala, to Makena. She did me well. Thats her behind my shoulder. 

So thanks to all my amazing friends, I managed to get rides places. I had a ride everywhere I needed to go. I was never late, not even once. I even borrowed a car for the last 10 days. It was pretty awesome, how everyone helped me out. 

and..... yesterday I bought a new car. A 2001 Nissan Sentra, super low miles and incredibly clean. I haven't named her yet. She will have a name soon. Here is what she looks like, only black:

So how do I have time to post a blog now?? Welll... this week is my midterm week, but my instructor let my group do our midterms last week. Sooo... that means I had yesterday, today and tomorrow OFF from school!!!!!!!!!!! Yesterday I fell asleep on the beach for an hour, and my whitey skin turned bright right. Sun burn?? Wow its been soo long. Now I am at Maui Coffee Roasters enjoying the rainy afternoon. 

The last four weeks of school were amazing. I have been doing my clinical practice in the hospital and I love it. I have 2 more weeks of Acute Care in the hospital and then I get a whole week off for spring break. Then I am offically 2/3 of the way through the semester. It feels good to think about summer. 

So thats my current life.
