Umm.... vacation?
This is the busiest summer vacation yet!
Working like crazy at the restaurant, trying to play catch up from the last six months. Im teaching windsurfing too! I love it so much! Spending the entire morning at the beach with kids, and seeing them learn and improve is pretty cool. And Im getting paid?!?!
Today I decided I'm pretty proud of myself for the decisions I have been making.
Tomorrow there is a south swell coming, so surf should be fun!
My to-do list is incredibly long, but I have a whole four more weeks to work on it.
Yaaaaaay four weeks!

Dear Blog
Hi Blog,
Remember me? Sierra? We used to spend some quality time together, consistently. Please don't think I have completely forgotten you, because I have not. The last few months of my life have been, well, insane. I dropped everything and threw myself into a frenzy of nursing books, coffee, and teal nursing scrubs. But you should be proud of me, because I passed my classes with an A and a B. I am done now, for five weeks. Do you hear that? Five weeks! I will be able to type into your sweet little box for the next five weeks, and tell you about my adventures.
Today was the first day of my break, blog. I woke up at 5am and went standup paddle surfing at Thousand Peaks. Rocko even got out on the board with me. I went straight to Maui Sports Unlimited Kids Camp, where I chased 24 little ones around the sand and water with giant boards and miniature sails. After a nice afternoon nap I went sailing in overpowered super gusty but super fun conditions at Kanaha---for a 3 hours. Exhausted, Rocko and I de-rigged my gear and we chased sand crabs. I ended my night with an amazing steak dinner with Nitsan and my new roommate. Oh thats right, I live in Paia now, by the way.
Life is great blog. My body is so tired.... its a good feeling....this thing called exercise.
Don't worry blog, I will keep you posted for at least the next five weeks. I miss you blog.
Love Always,
Sierra

some familia
I finally rode a horse again and I miss it like crazy! Steph and I did a run out to the barn for a quick ride and a stop at the taco wagon. I miss those yummy burritos too. There is absolutely no place else I can buy such amazing burritos! Now I have spent the last few days with my mom and grandma. Yesterday was Moms birthday too! Today I am headed back into Chico with plenty on my list of things-to-do.....
The Burrito Truck in all its glory!!
Just me...

Surviving SF, days 2 and 3
Oh wow.... so much in two days.
Saturday, sightseeing and Oyster Fest. Saw Michael Franti live, that was pretty fun. Ate the best garlic butter oysters I have ever eaten.
Sunday I was awake early, and drunk by 8:30am. I participated in Bay to Breakers, a 7 mile race. Did I run? Absolutely not. I followed the crowed of costumed (or naked!) walkers. It was insane, San Francisco is insane. At around noon I took a taxi to The Fairmont Hotel, and proceeded to pass out in their fancy lobby. Jona met me there, my savior! After a nice lunch, we drove to Chico. I hate being hungover in the afternoon. But it was worth it, I can't even explain more than that.
Im in Chico now =)
DAY 2
